Once again the Columban family around the world celebrates the feast of our patron, Saint Columban. The zeal and enthusiasm of Columban inspired the founders of the Society to help form a missionary awareness among the members of the Church. Today, Columban lay missionaries proudly join in this tradition of service in the form of cross-cultural mission.
At this time of celebration we offer God our gratitude for the countless blessings we have received in our personal missionary journeys and for the testimony of each lay missionary, which has positively contributed to the growth and strengthening of Columban Lay Mission throughout the years. This is also an appropriate time to offer God with humbleness our struggles, failures and uncertainties, and to ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance to face future challenges.
The CLT feels proud to serve in leadership to such an enthusiastic and committed group of women and men. We express, once again our deep appreciation to those involved in local leadership teams for their selfless support and constant encouragement.
As we continue to celebrate with joy Fr Mick Sinnott’s safe release, we wish you all a happy Saint Columban’s Day !

Una vez mas the familia Columbana en diferentes lugares del mundo celebra la festividad de San Columbano, nuestro patrón. El celo y entusiasmo de Columbano inspiro a los fundadores de la sociedad para ayudar a crear conciencia misionera entre los miembros de la Iglesia. Hoy en día, misioneros laicos columbanos nos sumamos con orgullo a esta tradición de servicio que toma forma de misión croscultural.
En este tiempo de celebración ofrecemos a Dios nuestra gratitud por las innumerables bendiciones que hemos recibido personalmente en nuestro caminar misionero, y por el testimonio de cada laica (o) misionera (o), que ciertamente ha contribuido a crecimiento y fortalecimiento del CLM.. Este es también un momento apropiado para ofrecer a Dios con humildad nuestras luchas, caídas e inseguridades, y pedir que el Espíritu santo nos guíe al enfrentar los futuros desafíos.
El CLT se siente orgulloso de servir y liderar a este grupo de hombre y mujeres comprometidas (os) y entusiastas.. Agradecemos una vez mas a todas (os) aquellas (os) que sirven en los equipos de liderazgo local por el apoyo incondicional y por c animar constantemente a las (os) LMs.
Continuando nuestra alegre celebración del la liberación del Padre Mick Sinnott, les deseamos un feliz día de San Columbano.
